Our WHY:
The Sea Hut Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The founders of the Sea Hut Foundation are military service veterans who experienced the process of what veterans go through when veterans pursue education and higher learning.
We recognize the crucial importance of supporting individuals as they transition into civilian life, especially our veterans. Many veterans face challenges in accessing benefits earned from their service. They may also have challenges in finding the right educational institution to pursue higher education or finding the right career path. And, unfortunately, some veterans exhaust educational benefits prematurely. Our dedication is to enhance the lives of student veterans who may need guidance with where to start in planning their educational journey if they choose the college path or for those who seek know how during their transition to the civilian world.
In addition, we are committed to supporting programs that focus on various therapeutic approaches. These programs are in the range of Music therapy, Adventure therapy, Wilderness therapy, Horticulture therapy, Walk-and-talk therapy, and nature-based rehabilitation. With your assistance, we can continue our efforts to make a meaningful impact and reach our goals in supporting our veterans.
Mission: To help educate veterans, provide mentorship and financial assistance to underfunded student veterans.
Vision: Multiplying the educational and professional success rate of veterans.
Values:
“Empowering our veterans by providing tools they need for success in education and professional environments."
