There is a population of student veterans, specifically first generation students veterans, who have not received the guidance they need to make sound educational decisions. The term “educational career path” is a term used to identify what a person is going to school for and what extra curricular activities they are participating in. The Sea Hut foundation provides educational and career mentorship to qualified student veterans to address this issue and problem. Different types of scholastic activities help student veterans further themselves and have a positive impact on their education and career goals.
